My name is Raj Nepal and I have extensive experience of the Nepal tourism industry which I have gained over the last 15 years. I can speak five languages and have worked with clients of many nationalities.
I graduated in Travel and Tourism Management and broadened my knowledge operating tours and treks in the Trans Himalaya of Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan & India. I hold additional qualifications from the Government of Nepal Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation in first aid and high altitude trekking. I am a naturally optimistic and positive person with a comprehensive knowledge and boundless enthusiasm for this industry.
When I first qualified as a guide I spent seven happy years working for a tourism company but I started to get an increasing number of personal referrals. For the last four years I have operated as a successful and respected independent guide, which means I can offer my clients the same high quality of service, that they clearly enjoy, but at a lower price.
I have trekked all over Nepal, Tibet and India with my clients. I can organize a trip to your specification or suggest an itinerary that you may find meets your needs. My desire is to help you realize the vision you have for your ‘trip of a lifetime’, and to turn that vision into a reality.
I would like to encourage you to visit Nepal. For many of my clients it has proven to be a life enhancing experience that has deeply affected their worldview.
If you are looking for a professional friendly guide I would be delighted and honored to offer you my services. I look forward to hearing from you.
In January we discovered Ghorepani- Ghandruk Trek.I had two ladies from U.S.A. It was their first time in Nepal. They came here for short time. First day when we hike to Urllery, weather was perfect. Next day we started to walk bit earlier. When we entry Ghorepani from Urllery after that starting to snowing a lot, it was freezing cold but the hotel where we stay it was great because they had a heater in the dining even when we went to sleep Hotel owners bring us warm blanket which we put above our sleeping bag after that we didn’t feel cold. Next day we had such a brilliant views of several Mountains like: - Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, BharaShikar, Annapurna South, Fishtail etc. Our plan was to hike Poon hill early morning but we skip that because of our short time. We walk from Ghorepani to Ghandruk one day which was very long hike because of heavy snowing. There were other few clients who also followed us. It was very difficult to find trail even I did this trek many times but this is my first time where I walk whole day on snow. I, my porter and my clients slipped many times in the snow, we didn’t get injured but we got very tired.
Anyway, we made it! I hope they enjoy their first holiday in Nepal very much.
