Tamang Heritage Trekking
Tamang Heritage Trail is newly opened trekking route in Nepal which is one of the closest trekking destinations from Kathmandu lies an unparalleled combination of natural beauty and cultural riches of Langtang offers an unfolding life and unique experience. Previously a restricted area near the Tibetan border, the unexplored regions of the Langtang National park has recently been developed into the Tamang Heritage Trail. The people in this area are mostly of Tamang and Tibetan origin, whose culture goes back to hundreds of year. The craftsmanship, dress, traditionally built stone households and the beautifully carved wooden porches reflect the solitude and the serenity of the Himalayan scenery.
Suggested Itinerary
01. Drive: Ktm- Dhunche - Syabrubensi (1470m).
02. Syabrubesi to Gutlang (2320m).
03.Gutlang to Tatopani (2607m).
04. Rest day at Tatopani (Natural Hot Spring)
05. Tatopani to Nagthali Dada (3165m) –Thuman (2338m).
06. Thuman to Timure (1762m) visit Rasuwagadi, Tibet boarder
07. Timure to Bridim (2229m) –
08. Bridim to Syabrubesi.
09. Drive back to Kathmandu.
